So the destroid continued searching angrily.
He sniffedspeaker for scents.
     Nothing.
He listened for noises.
     Nothing.
He switched onspeaker his thermal camera.
     Nothing.
He activatedspeaker his night vision camera.
     Nothing.

Robotlet in the clockSource: Tamás MayerThe littlest robotlet was so scared that he didn't dare utter a word. He vowed never to be rude to anyone again!
"Are you here, incy-wincy robotlet?" the destroid growled softly, stopping in front of the old atomic wall clock. The seventh robotlet was so terrified that he didn't even dare squeak. Maybe even the electricity in its tiny circuits stopped for a moment.
"BEEP... BEEP... BEEPspeaker" the old atomic wall clock suddenly chimed, and the ancient black and white LCD display showed 12:00 noon.
"Ah, these old things always fool my super-duper camera!" the destroid grumbled, then shrugged and stretched. "I'm completely drained from all this searching. I'm going to recharge and then find that last little robotlet for my snack," he thought to himself, and walked off to the tool shed. There he plugged himself into the charger and turned off.
