Not long after that, Robotmom arrived. She could already see from afar that something was wrong because the door was open. She stormed into the house, ready to turn anyone who dared to harm her little ones into confetti with her laser eyes.
But inside the house, she found neither the robotlets nor anyone else, just a huge mess. She did notice a few things, though.
The game console with the seven controllers was missing.
The TV and the remote coltrol went missing. Well, the remote control often did that, to be fair.
The microwave had vanished.
All the spare parts in the wardrobe had disappeared.
All the broken parts in the basket had gone without a trace. Although they weren't much of a loss.
And finally, where had the oil from the bathtub gone?
"Oh, my sweet little robotlets, where are you?" Robotmom lamented for a moment, but then quickly pulled herself together. "Maybe some of them have managed to hide. I'll find them!"
So Robotmom began to search.
She sniffed
for scents.
Nothing.
She listened for noises.
Nothing.
She switched on
her thermal camera.
Nothing.
She activated
her night vision camera.
Nothing.
Finally, she turned on her super-duper...
Oops, she didn't have such a camera!
But she did have laser eyes.
So she finally activated
her laser eyes and scanned
the room.
And there was something! There was definitely something inside the old atomic wall clock.
