"...voltage!" Lisa shouted, desperately jumping to the side.
She barely dodged the hedgehog trudging across the tarmac, but hit
the pine tree at the side of the road. Fortunately, she was moving slowly, so only her paintwork and her pride were slightly damaged, otherwise she was completely unharmed.
The hedgehog escaped unharmed as well, but the hoverboard wasn't so lucky. It crashed into the tree, leaving a huge crack in the bottom.
"I can't even sell this piece of junk now!" Lisa cried in despair, and her enthusiasm for the market vanished.
Disappointed, she turned around and grudgingly headed back home. Along the way, she kept thinking about how to present the hoverboard to her robot mum as if it were something valuable. It seemed a pretty hopeless endeavour.
