Toney told the gold-star general that the enemy was surrendering and asked for a safe retreat.
"Oh dear, this must be some big military trick," the general thought. He quickly convened the war council, and they decided that it was better for them to surrender, also requesting a safe retreat, of course. Let the enemy do what they want with the land.
"As you think..." Toney shrugged and made his way back to the silver-star general's camp. He was getting quite tired of all this walking back and forth.
"They surrender and request a safe retreat," he said in the camp.
The soldiers heard this, and they were so delighted by the news that they threw Toney into the air and patted him on the back. Once, even Siri came over and, almost accidentally, bumped her charming head against his, making Toney's eyes to turn very, very red...
