The narrow bridgeSource: Tamás MayerThe robozoom loved his work , and he didn't spare himself or anyone else. He always raced toward his destination with maximum speed on his hover engine and, if necessary, ruthlessly pushedspeaker slower robots out of the way. This often led to robot grumbling and robot outrage along his path.
This was particularly true for a narrow bridge that crossed the Iron Creek on the outskirts of the city, near the forest. It was a very, very old bridge, only one robot could fit on it at a time, and while that one robot crossed, the others had to wait at either end.
The robozoom always tried to get to the front of the line, and even then, he could hardly wait for the robot on the bridge to cross. He taunted them constantly:
"Come on, you disgrace of robots, I'll count to infinity and back before you trudge over!"
Or:
"Have you frozen, you piece of junk, that you're moving so slowly?"
Or:
"If I were as slow as you, I'd jump into a destroid's mouth to spare myself the embarrassment!"
That's how the robozzum behaved. Of course, he didn't have any friends as a result, but he didn't mind at all because, as he always said, his work was enough for him.
