Back at home, she pulled into the garage and entered the house with a mournful look on her face.
"Unfortunately, I couldn't sell the car," Lisa complained.
"That's OK, you'll succeed another time. Was there anything interesting at the market?" asked robot mum.
"Oh, no, it was incredibly boring the whole way," Lisa shrugged. "If you don't mind, I'd like to go up to my room now."
"Go ahead, my dear," said robot mum. But just before Lisa disappeared into up the stairs, she called out, "I almost forgot! The car sent me a notification on my mobile that one of the front doors got dented. I made an appointment at the service centre and they said it would cost 100 Bitpounds. I've just deducted it from your bank account, I hope that's OK?"
With that, robot mum smiled kindly at the wide-eyed Lisa and went about her business.
