The next day, the goal was the balcony of the highest tower of the royal palace, from which the robot princess dangled a silver ribbon, this time with an even more grumpy face. This time, most of the contestants were eliminated. Many didn't have enough power in their rockets, or their control electronics malfunctioned, sending them flying aimlessly back and forth in the palace gardens as a balloon with a hole before crashing into the rose beds.
In the end, only the three sons of the king of the neighbouring robot kingdom and, to everyone's surprise, the robotlet managed to complete the task. He flew up effortlessly to the balcony and retrieved the silver ribbon. But, once again, he had the feeling that the robot princess had deliberately prevented him from taking the ribbon. He couldn't understand why she would do such a thing, and he rather pushed these thoughts aside.
