CircuitThe robozoom pondered, but not for long, as the bit children's song came to his mind. After all, that was what they sang!
"The bit1 it is!" he exclaimed. "If it's round, it's 0, or 'false' in another word, if it's thin, it's 1, or 'true'."
"Alright, alright, the answer is correct!" came the reply from inside. "If you can also answer the second riddle, I'll let you in. Here it is:

Eight little children of mine,
Often cry for me in line,
They never want to be zero,
They want to be one, the hero.

When they play and stand in a queue,
They create values, oh, they do,
From nothing, values grow high,
To two hundred and fifty-five.
What am I?"

The robozoom knew the answer at once, remembering the bit children who ran around in eights.
"It's the byte2!" he declared. "Consists of eight bits and its value ranges from zero to two hundred and fifty-five."
"Hmm, that's correct too! It seems that you have passed the first trial, robozoom. Come on in!" With that, the gate opened, and the little green robozoom found himself facing the robowitch. He greeted her respectfully.
"Stay charged for a long time, robowitch!"
"Uh... you too, little green one, you too," the robowitch said, surprised that he wasn't afraid of her.
She escorted the robozoom to a comfortable room, gave him with everything he asked for (which wasn't much), and left him alone.

1 A bit represents the smallest unit of information. Its value can be 0 or 1.
2 A byte represents a larger unit of information consisting of 8 bits. It is also a commonly used storage capacity measurement unit in computing.
